Framex Windows & Doors Ltd.

Old-money polish for a windows and doors installer — with a quote tool that writes the PDF.

A navy-and-gold Astro site with a browser-based CMS the owner’s team edits directly, an instant quote calculator that produces a PDF, a BC rebate calculator, a project portfolio and city service-area pages.

The brief

Framex installs windows, doors, sunrooms and sundecks across Surrey and the Lower Mainland. They wanted a site that felt premium, generated real estimates, and that they could update without calling a developer.

What we built

We designed an editorial, serif-led site on Astro with a Git-based CMS at /admin, so the team edits pages and projects in the browser. A multi-step quote calculator produces a branded PDF, and a rebate calculator shows what BC programs pay back.

Instant quote → PDF

A guided estimate that ends in a branded, downloadable PDF.

Rebate calculator

Shows which BC energy rebates apply and what they’re worth.

Editable by the owner

A Git-based CMS in the browser — no developer needed for updates.

Portfolio

Filterable project gallery with a lightbox.

Service areas

Local landing pages for Lower Mainland cities.

Design system

Navy, gold and Cormorant — a frame motif carried through every page.

Information architecture

Mapped before a pixel was drawn.

Every section, page type and flow — planned around how customers actually shop, compare and apply.

Design system

A brand system, not a template.

Every colour and typeface is a token in the codebase, so the whole site stays consistent as it grows. These are the real values.
